That Slip Dress

Its Friday!! I survived this week (somehow) and I am so so looking forward to this weekend. Fun stuff planned with the fam jam. What do you all have planned this weekend?

Now lets talk about my favourite trend....the SLIP DRESS! Why? Why do I love it so much? First off, its so simple yet makes such a statement. I feel like every time I wear one, I feel good, I feel comfortable all night, and get the most compliments. Secondly, they are soooo versatile. Dress them down with a cute pair of sneakers and layer with a cute tee, or wear them as a beach coverup, dress it totally up for an event or wedding, or just pair it with a killer boot and jacket, like I did in this post and head out for dinner! I am all about versatile pieces. There are so any slip dresses to choose from. Everything from high end to low end and a plethora of fabrics. The silhouette of a slip dress is what really attracts me to them. Their simple, strappy, and I personally love the V neck line. I am only 5"3 so I go for the shorter ones, but there are so many midi and long slip dresses that are absolutely gorgeous and I wish I could pull them off.
