I love this quote. No matter what your makeup routine is, concealer is always a must. The difference that concealer makes is nothing like any other product. It makes you look more awake, bright, lifted, smooth and like you would never know when a mom is sleep deprived.
This Maybelline Dreamlumi Highlighting Concealer is one of my go-to concealers for day-time. Why? It's light yet has great coverage. Makes my eyes look bright and radiant. Also, for everyday, you can't beat the price. Its only $12.99. I love the easy to use roll-up applicator and the brush is super soft on my skin.
This Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer is one of my newest concealers that I am loving. I tend to use this one for day-time as well. Its a little heavier than the Maybelline one, but if I am feeling like I need a little more coverage, I grab this one. First off, I am currently obsessed with all Tarte products. Its my new found love. Its vegan friendly, which is cool, packaging is so cute, always and the smoothness of this concealer is what really made me fall in love with it. I bought a lighter shade as well as a touch darker shape, and I use it just like I'm contouring. When I tested on just one eye, I literally looked like I had just had an eye lift...
I was sold!
Okay, so this concealer is a must have for night-time! I do not leave the house to go out on a date night or girls night without this on. Its AMAZING! The coverage is seriously the greatest. If you set it properly, it does not move, does not crease, and stays looking flawless all night. Its definitely on a heavier side as far as consistency, but that is why I stick to using it for night-time. You need that extra coverage at night, in my opinion. Also, as a makeup artist, I love using this on my clients. My bridal clients, love it. Why? because it lasts all day and we all know how long wedding days can be. So if you are getting married, you need to purchase this and wear it. You will not regret it.
Another concealer that I always have in my kit is this MAC Cosmetic Studio Finish SPF35 Concealer. My clients love it. I use it mostly for photo shoots as the coverage is heavy but for photos, its perfect. Goes on nicely and the amount of shades it comes in is what is required when I have so many clients who are all different shades. I love that it has SPF in it, because people do not realize how important it is to always wear SPF, especially under their eyes. Your under eye skin is so sensitive and you need to be so gentle with it and take such great care of it. Personally, I think more concealers should have SPF in them.
Last but not least, this Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer by Estee Lauder is gorgeous. It really, really does stay in place. It has a lighter coverage so I would say it's better for day-time and if you don't have extremely dark circles. If you are one of those women who don't necessarily like wearing makeup, let a lone a lot of it, you will love this one. So natural looking and feels like you aren't really wearing any at all. This one is a little more on the pricer side at $30 but its worth it. I feel like you can never go wrong with an Estee Lauder product.
