Basics + Heels

Happy Monday! Since becoming a mom, I have noticed how much I love basics. I am drawn to black, grey and white and simple t-shirts and sweatshirts. Don't get me wrong, I still love to have a little fun when it comes to my wardrobe, but you can never go wrong with some great basic items in your closet. I am also a huge fan of taking outfits from day to night. I can easily pair this same outfit with a pair of sneakers and I would be set for a casual day out.

These items are staples in my closet. From the leather jacket to the simple black sandal, you can never go wrong with black. This Chloe bag is by far one of my favourite bags and I wear it all the time. Great for going out but can easily be dressed down. These sunglasses I picked up for $15.00 at some random store so unfortunately I was not able to link them, but there are so many similar pairs out right now from low end to high, and I feel like they would suit any face as they are supposed to be oversized looking. These basic sweatshirts I always by, I've mentioned before, are from H&M. So many colours to choose from and fit so well. The asymmetrical hem detail of these black jeans are my favourite part. Such a simple detail yet adds a great deal of character to the pant.
