Hope you all had a great Family Day Weekend. We spent ours visiting family and friends and enjoying some birthday parties. How did you spend your Family Day? As a family, we enjoy cooking together. The kids are always asking to help out where they can. Whether its setting the table, washing vegetables, they love being my sous chef. I think it is so important to keep your kids interested in cooking and food in general. Lets be honest though, some nights, I just do not know wha
Happy Monday! Since becoming a mom, I have noticed how much I love basics. I am drawn to black, grey and white and simple t-shirts and sweatshirts. Don't get me wrong, I still love to have a little fun when it comes to my wardrobe, but you can never go wrong with some great basic items in your closet. I am also a huge fan of taking outfits from day to night. I can easily pair this same outfit with a pair of sneakers and I would be set for a casual day out. These items are sta
Happy Wednesday my friends! This week was the first week of our kids Summer holiday. So far, we have been keeping busy, but I know I need to start really planning our summer, so these kids stay busy and not get bored. Any suggestions for me?? Would LOVE to hear some fun stuff that you do with your kids in the summer. On another note, one of my favourite stores, ZARA is having their sale! Who doesn't like a sale? I have an obsession with jackets, and I was looking for somethin
Greece…we LOVE you so much. Collins was about 10 months when we heading to Greece. It was such a magical place to see. The views are to die for! We started in Santorini which was incredible. All we really did was walk around and take in the views, lay pool side and eat...a lot! One thing that we found about Santorini was that it wasn't very stroller friendly. Between the cobble stone and all the stairs, it made walking around with a baby in a stroller, a struggle. We embraced
Some people stop traveling when babies arrive…but not us! Some people also thought we were absolutely crazy for taking our 6 week old Collins to Egypt! I was a first time mom and obviously had some concerns, but we did it…we actually did it! How you ask? I have no idea, but I will say it was one of our most adventurous trips since kids. Traveling with such a young baby was easier than we thought..she slept..ALOT! She was a breastfed baby so that made things easier. I fed her
We recently headed to Mexico for our yearly all-inclusive vacation with the family. We had our ups and downs, but overall... it was a perfect little vacation. Travel days were the worst. We have been many places with the kids before, but for some reason this time was by far the hardest. Our Lennon is 20 months and he was not having it. Didn't want to sleep, didn't want to be awake. Didn't want to eat, but was hungry. Didn't want to stand, didn't want to sit....so frustrating.
