We absolutely love to travel and when our friends decided to move to Paris, we decided we had to go visit! What an incredible experience we had. Even today, Collins talks about her friends Perle and Oscar who live at the Eiffel Tower. She is obsessed with the Eiffel Tower. She always asks to go back and it makes me so happy to know she remembers our amazing family trip to Paris. We were able to do way more than we thought with the kids. We took a day and headed to Versailles.
Greece…we LOVE you so much. Collins was about 10 months when we heading to Greece. It was such a magical place to see. The views are to die for! We started in Santorini which was incredible. All we really did was walk around and take in the views, lay pool side and eat...a lot! One thing that we found about Santorini was that it wasn't very stroller friendly. Between the cobble stone and all the stairs, it made walking around with a baby in a stroller, a struggle. We embraced
Some people stop traveling when babies arrive…but not us! Some people also thought we were absolutely crazy for taking our 6 week old Collins to Egypt! I was a first time mom and obviously had some concerns, but we did it…we actually did it! How you ask? I have no idea, but I will say it was one of our most adventurous trips since kids. Traveling with such a young baby was easier than we thought..she slept..ALOT! She was a breastfed baby so that made things easier. I fed her
We recently headed to Mexico for our yearly all-inclusive vacation with the family. We had our ups and downs, but overall... it was a perfect little vacation. Travel days were the worst. We have been many places with the kids before, but for some reason this time was by far the hardest. Our Lennon is 20 months and he was not having it. Didn't want to sleep, didn't want to be awake. Didn't want to eat, but was hungry. Didn't want to stand, didn't want to sit....so frustrating.
