School is almost out...and Summer will officially start. How are you all spending your summer? We have a little camp action happening but one thing I love about the summer is the lack of schedules. We plan on spending a lot of time outdoors playing and I have to let you know about some great outdoor toys from Little Tikes! The kids love these fun toys. Perfect for a hot summer day. First off The Fun Zone Splash Face. Who doesn't like a good tug-of-war? Why not get soaked in t

Hope you all had a great Family Day Weekend. We spent ours visiting family and friends and enjoying some birthday parties. How did you spend your Family Day? As a family, we enjoy cooking together. The kids are always asking to help out where they can. Whether its setting the table, washing vegetables, they love being my sous chef. I think it is so important to keep your kids interested in cooking and food in general. Lets be honest though, some nights, I just do not know wha
Sometimes, you need to just sit back and let them be little. Let them run wild, explore, get dirty and be loud! With all the technology and toys, I am scared our kids won't grow up with wild, beautiful imaginations like we did as kids. I want them to be able to make up stories and play pretend without the help of "stuff". I have made sure that this summer as been full of outings. Being active, not only physically but mentally is so important for them. We headed to Evergreen B
Greece…we LOVE you so much. Collins was about 10 months when we heading to Greece. It was such a magical place to see. The views are to die for! We started in Santorini which was incredible. All we really did was walk around and take in the views, lay pool side and eat...a lot! One thing that we found about Santorini was that it wasn't very stroller friendly. Between the cobble stone and all the stairs, it made walking around with a baby in a stroller, a struggle. We embraced
Some people stop traveling when babies arrive…but not us! Some people also thought we were absolutely crazy for taking our 6 week old Collins to Egypt! I was a first time mom and obviously had some concerns, but we did it…we actually did it! How you ask? I have no idea, but I will say it was one of our most adventurous trips since kids. Traveling with such a young baby was easier than we thought..she slept..ALOT! She was a breastfed baby so that made things easier. I fed her
We recently headed to Mexico for our yearly all-inclusive vacation with the family. We had our ups and downs, but overall... it was a perfect little vacation. Travel days were the worst. We have been many places with the kids before, but for some reason this time was by far the hardest. Our Lennon is 20 months and he was not having it. Didn't want to sleep, didn't want to be awake. Didn't want to eat, but was hungry. Didn't want to stand, didn't want to sit....so frustrating.
